Un tract récent de l'Union Syndicale portant sur la forte pression exercée sur le personnel dans une DG de la Commission a provoqué beaucoup de réactions de collègues travaillant dans d'autres services. Ils nous ont écrit sur le mode "c'est tout aussi grave chez nous".

It is with regret that we have to inform you that last Friday, 13 April 2012, more than 50 Contract Agent colleagues, having reached the end of their fix term contract, left the Commission.

This happens on the 15^th and 30^th of each month and will continue like this until the adoption of the Commission's proposed Reform of the Statue.

The workload within DG HOME is constantly increasing. A certain share of this increase is homemade: deadlines grow tighter and staff become fewer - even before the Commission cuts its staff by 5%.

Our pensions are under threat ...

Many of you are wondering whether the process of amendment of the Staff Regulations begun by the Commission is a threat to your pensions. It is very hard to answer that question without being either alarmist or excessively confident and optimistic. We shall, however, try to inform you as accurately and objectively as possible.
